Area Volleyball Tournament Saturday Print E-mail

vballweb2The Aquinas Lady Irish Volleyball team is headed to the postseason and off to Savannah on Saturday, Oct. 3, for the 2-AA/A Area Tournament at Savannah Country Day School.

The Lady Irish are 12-8-2 in 2009 under first-year coack Kristine Haglund and look to keep their season alive on Saturday in  the double-elimination tournament. The top two teams on Saturday will advance to the 2-AA/A Area Finals on Thursday at the site of the higher seeded team. Host Savannah Country Day is the No. 1seed entering the tournament with a 16-10 overall record and 6-1 mark in 2-AA/A.
