Matt LeZotte is in his third year at Aquinas and his first (2009) as Head Football Coach. LeZotte was previously responsible for coaching the offensive backs before being promoted to the head coaching position in the spring of 2009. Born and raised in Augusta, LeZotte was a standout quarterback at Westside High School and attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., on a full athletic scholarship. While at JMU, LeZotte played quarterback and was a three-time captain; the first three-time captain in school history. He was also part of the 2004 National Championship team at JMU, compiling a 13-2 record that season.
