Aquinas loses 10-8 in tough struggle 

Georgia High School Football - Aquinas nipped by Landmark Christian

(August 26, 2011: Fairburn, GA 30213) The Landmark Christian Eagles held off the visiting Aquinas Irish football team by a count of 10-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Landmark Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Athens Christian (Athens, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Athens Christian lost 23-14 in their recent non-league outing against Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA)

With the loss, Aquinas moves to 0-1 on the season. The Irish host Telfair County (McRae, GA) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league outing on Friday, September 2. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Telfair County lost 14-7 in their recent non-league outing against Wheeler County (Alamo, GA)
