North Paulding had scored and elected to go for the win instead of the tie with a PAT kick. Aquinas (3-3) scored all its points in the first half while North Paulding's points came in the fourth quarter Ethan LaPan hit all three of his PAT attempts for the Irish, including the game winner. David Mysona scored the first Irish touchdown on a 13-yard run in the first quarter, and the Irish added another TD in the opening quarter when Ray Thompkins returned a blocked punt 40 yards for a score. Bowen Klosinski had the other Aquinas touchdown — hauling in a 12-yard pass from Dane Anderson in the second quarter. Source: The Augusta Chronicle |
