Region opener Friday night against Lincoln County!

AQUINAS BASEBALL RETURNS HOME AFTER GOING 2-1 ON THE WEEK WITH AN OVERALL 5-1 RECORD.

Mike Laney's baseball boys return home Friday for the Region opener against Lincoln County.  The baseball nine have a 5-1 record with feature recent wins over Cross Creek on Saturday.  The game was highlighted by a complete game performance by Sophomore Rhett Mills, and a towering 3 run home run by Senior Sam Few.  

Tuesday the team traveled to Thomson to take on a 7th ranked AAA Club from Thomson High School.  Erin Hawk took the mound and held the Thomson team to 2 runs on 6 hits through six innings.  The Irish offense however was also held to two runs, those coming on back to back home runs by Sam Few and Brendon Douglas through seven.  A walk off home run by Thomson in the seventh gave the Irish their first loss of the year.

Wednesday the Irish traveled to historic AL Williams field to meet Richmond Academy.  Palmer Douglas took the mound and paced the Irish to a 22-5 mercy run shorten game.

Come support the #3 Irish Friday at 4:00 pm versus Lincoln County as they begin their defense of the Region Crown.
